About the role
EV Service Technician – 2W & 3W Diagnostics, Repair and Maintenance. The technician will independently handle vehicle inspection, fault diagnosis, electrical troubleshooting, motor and controller testing, battery-system checks, wiring-harness diagnosis, charger and DC-DC system testing, preventive maintenance and post-repair validation. The role requires the ability to use multimeters, diagnostic tools and service equipment, understand EV electrical architecture and systematically identify root causes rather than replacing components by trial and error. The technician will also document every job through the EVXpertz digital job-card process and follow defined SOPs, safety procedures and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete EV inspection and diagnosis
- diagnose battery, BMS, motor, controller, charger, DC-DC converter, wiring and electrical faults
- perform motor and controller testing
- inspect battery condition and basic battery health parameters
- troubleshoot wiring harnesses, connectors, sensors and communication systems
- carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
- execute component replacement and repair
- conduct post-repair testing and road-test validation
- accurately update digital job cards and diagnostic findings
- follow EVXpertz SOPs, safety procedures and quality standards
- maintain workshop tools and equipment
- escalate complex technical issues to the senior diagnostic team
